This Winchester-Western Division manufactured yellow, red, white and blue cardboard box contains all 50 rounds of Super-X 29 grain 22 Short ammunition with brass cases and copper washed bullets and is in good condition with moderate wear and dirt smudges. The semi-circle child warning logo is printed on the left side of the top of the box. The ownership line "OLIN MATHIESON CHEMICAL CORPORATION" is printed on the bottom. The brass casings display the "SU-1" headstamp and may have a couple specks of tarnish present.  (file photos)

Date of Manufacture: This style box was introduced in 1962 and was produced until 1971.

Note: This box is similar to the Huegel # WCC-12 S-1(a) and (b) variations. The difference observed is that the bottom of the box does not match Huegel's due to the fact that this is a short box and the printing does not line up. This box displays the "A" style bottom.
